Fiozu

The price that matters is the one you keep paying

Before the numbers

This page describes how Fiozu reads and projects prices when quote data is enabled. In the current release, quote checks are switched off while source verification completes — nothing here is shown as a live price today.

Three different numbers

Registration price: what you pay to register the domain for its first term. Renewal price: what you pay every term after that, for as long as you keep the domain. Transfer price: what another registrar would charge to take over the domain. Fiozu treats these as separate values and never mixes them.

Premium domains are priced individually by the registry. When a domain is premium, Fiozu labels it premium instead of pretending a normal price applies.

Terms, promotions and fees

Registrars sell terms in whole years and sometimes run promotions that discount the first term only. Fiozu records the minimum term, the length of each term, and whether a price is a promotion with its own eligibility conditions. Fees and taxes are labeled as included, excluded, or unknown — never silently folded into a price they are not part of.

The cost-to-keep projection

The 3-year and 5-year figures multiply the registration price by its term, then add whole renewal terms at current prices until the horizon is covered. They are a planning aid based on today’s prices, not a guarantee: renewals can change, and the projection says so.

All prices are shown in the currency the source reports (USD for Porkbun). Fiozu does not convert currencies without a dated, verifiable exchange rate.

If any number needed for a comparison is missing or incomparable, Fiozu shows partial data instead of ranking on a guess.
